A power without control is not a power. Some people might be very talented even the best in a field but it does not mean he can perform or finish the things he has been given responsibilities.

If a developer has lack of professionalism and having troubles to balance responsibilities and life, he/she will be continuously making mistakes because of feeling under pressure of what to do.

"Cheap Developers" have much expensive costs than "high paid" people. If you are avoiding quality for reducing the costs, it might end with bigger costs as all of us are experiencing in some parts of life.
Best doesn't mean the best in a programming language, but something focused only one project can make a person "best" too.
- Check Timings
A developer can be extreme skilled but at the same time slow as a turtle, before you go into big projects directly with deadlines, it's always recommended to start with small tasks and projects to understand developer's timings and how to behave against deadlines.
