What Is CRUD?
261
CRUD is an acronym that stands for Create, Read, Update, and Delete. These are the four basic operations that are performed on data in a database or other information system.
Create refers to the ability to create new records or entries in the database. Read refers to the ability to retrieve and view existing records. Update refers to the ability to change or modify existing records. Delete refers to the ability to remove records from the database.
CRUD operations are the foundation of most database systems and are used to manage and manipulate data in a consistent and organized way. They are often implemented as part of a database management system (DBMS) or as part of a software application that interacts with a database.
